Couples Counseling & Couples Therapy

Couples argue. They get stuck. They disconnect.
Most of my couples come to therapy because they struggle to communicate effectively, they get stuck in the same arguments over and over, and they feel like they’ve tried everything. Some of these couples have a history of betrayal. That betrayal can be an affair but it can also be a past resentment that still surfaces whenever arguments get heated. We root out these old hurts and work towards a more healed, connected place.
I bring specialized training and years of experience to my practice. I am here to help.
When couples come to me,
we tackle:
Communication issues
Conflict resolution
Past betrayals
Emotional disconnection
Extended family issues
Boundary setting
Doing couples therapy work requires specialized training and lots of experience.
I’ve got both.
If you and your partner are looking for help, let’s talk.

Grandma’s china isn’t the only thing that families pass down from generation to generation. Along with heirlooms and tchotchkes, families create and pass down emotional legacies. Grandparents and parents model to children how to treat others, how to behave in social situations, and how to build healthy relationships. And like heirlooms, some of these patterns deserved to be cherished and passed forward. Others? Not so much.
